1 Blue Label Cedar Shingles

Blue label shingles are a higher grade than red label.

These top grade shingles are 100 heartwood 100 clear and 100 edge grain. Three lengths of waldun premium no 1 blue label western red cedar shingles are available. This shingle is 1 2 to 5 8 thick on the butt end and tapers to an average 1 8 thickness on top. The certi guard label identifies cedar shakes and shingles which have been pressure impregnated with fire retardant polymers to provide permanent fire protection.

These western red cedar shingles are 18 in length and vary in width from 3 to 8 wide. The butt thickness of fivex shingles is just over 10mm. Western red cedar certigrade shingles are available in four grades. We now concentrate on stocking no 1 blue label certigrade western red cedar shingles.

They are known as fivex 16 406mm perfections 18 457mm and royals 24 610mm. Class c shakes and shingles are identified by their blue certi guard label. Number 1 grade blue label. The blue label grade ensures that all cedar shingles are made from cedar that is 100 heartwood 100 edge grain and 100 clear.

These are available in 16 18 and 24 lengths in either western red cedar or alaskan yellow cedar. R r shingles are produced from number 1 grade blue label certigrade western red cedar or alaskan yellow cedar clear grade milled from cedar heartwood 100 edge grain no defects. Blue label shingles are also 100 heartwood 100 clear in the bottom 10 nearest butt and 100 edge grain. Class b shakes and shingles are identified by their red certi guard label.

These top grade shingles are 100 heartwood 100 clear and 100 edge grain. 1 18 perfections blue label certigrade the premium grade of shingles for roofs and sidewalls. Perfections and royals have slightly thicker butts at 11 5mm and 12 7mm respectively. R r siding shingles are available in sawn grooved and sanded face textures with mill pre finish options of natural primed white or primed gray.

Manufactured from quality number 1 grade certi sawn shakes. Number 2 grade red label. No 1 grade blue label 100 edge grain no flat grain 100 clear no knots or defects.
